Arable Outlook is an exciting NEW feature set within the Cereals Event dedicated to the renewables, biofuel and non-food crops sector. The Cereals Event takes place on 11th-12th June 2008, at Heath Farm, Leadenham, Lincolnshire.

Arable Outlook has been specially developed by the Cereals Event team together with the support of the National Non-Food Crops Centre for forward thinking farmers.

The special new feature at Cereals explores alternative crops and markets including:

     • Bioenergy;
     • Construction;
     • Chemicals;
     • High value crops (pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, neutraceuticals);
     • Polymers; and
     • Biofuels

In the non-food crops sector, new markets and new technologies are evolving, facilities are being built and planned and there is a keen interest from both the agricultural sector and the wider community. Arable Outlook aims to raise awareness of the myriad of opportunities, available to UK farmers, for renewable fuel, energy and material crops.
